We have seen that the Covid-19 pandemic is a fact, and more and more countries are shutting down all kinds of activities, borders are closing, and this affects us all in several ways.
First, we simply want to continue urging everyone to follow the directives issued by national and international authorities:
Avoid larger gatherings, wash your hands, feel free to use hand sanitizer, and if you experience symptoms indicating that you may be infected, stay at home.
Above all, avoid all contact with elderly people and people who are in a Risk Group. If you are one of these people, you must take responsibility yourself and avoid all types of physical contact with people you do not absolutely have to meet.
Take care of our elderly and stay in contact via telephone and other media.
How we at cigge are handling this:
Here in Sweden, we have not yet needed to close either shops, offices or our e-commerce operations. Our sales continue, and at the moment there are no indications that we would need to change this. Shops in some locations are facing a tougher climate than others, but we are a financially strong company and we will survive this crisis.
Our staff wash their hands, we stay at home if we experience any kind of symptoms, we have hand sanitizer available for customers in our shops, and we have increased sanitation procedures both in our warehouse and in our shops.
Product stock status may vary. We source products from Sweden, Europe, China and the USA, and several countries are in “lockdown”, making it difficult to receive deliveries. This affects our stock, but we are working extremely hard to maintain the best stock levels we possibly can.
Perhaps you will have reason to try a new flavor or buy another product; we must try to look at it positively.
The majority of our snus comes from Sweden, and as long as they have raw materials, the flow will probably continue. Sick leave throughout the country is affecting delivery times somewhat.
Shipping and delivery times may also vary, and we hope you will be understanding in this regard as well.
