How to Charge Your E-cigarette in the Best Way

There are two different ways you can charge your electronic cigarette (if the device uses external batteries). In this post, we will recommend the best way to charge your electronic cigarette.
E-cigarettes Without Built-in Batteries
If your electronic cigarette requires external batteries, we always recommend that our customers use an external battery charger for the batteries. You should try to avoid charging the vape via the USB port whenever possible. USB ports tend to become worn out over time and can damage the mod.
One tip is to have a couple of extra batteries that you can install in the mod while the other pair of batteries is charging.
Vapes with Built-in Batteries
Vapes that have a built-in battery can only be charged in one way, and that is via the USB port. If you want your electronic cigarette to have the best conditions for a long life, be gentle and light-handed when inserting the charging cable into the USB port.
Let the Battery Charge Fully
If you are impatient and stop charging before the batteries are fully charged, your batteries can be damaged, both external and built-in, so we strongly recommend that you let the batteries charge fully before use.
There are also electronic cigarettes that have the "Vape-through" function, which means that you can vape while the vape is charging. Read the instruction manual to see if your electronic cigarette is compatible with Vape-through.
Always Keep an Eye on the Battery Wraps

When it is time to charge the batteries, inspect them and make sure that the battery wraps are not damaged. If the plastic casing is damaged, you must NOT use the battery.
However, don't worry—there are new battery wraps (plastic casings) with various designs available to buy if you want to spruce up your battery. A battery wrap costs very little and is always good to have in reserve when your wrap breaks.
If your battery is damaged, you should dispose of it immediately. A battery costs very little, and safety always comes first!
Always Keep an Eye on Your Batteries While They Are Charging
It is very important to keep an eye on your batteries while charging them. It is strongly advised not to charge the batteries while you are sleeping or away from home. Always keep an eye on your e-cigarette batteries while they are charging!
Always Store Your Batteries in a Battery Case
When storing your batteries, you should always keep them in a battery case. We strongly advise against carrying your batteries loose in your pocket, as they may come into contact with metal objects and short-circuit.
NOTE! If you order vape batteries from us at cigge.se, we always ship your batteries in a safe battery case!
