Have you ever experienced problems with your electronic cigarette? It can happen that your e-cigarette does not perform as it should, perhaps the e-liquid tank is leaking or maybe the tank is sending e-juice out through the drip tip.
There are a few common problems that can usually be solved through some simple troubleshooting. With this post, we will give you tips so that you can troubleshoot your e-cigarette and solve whatever problem you are experiencing.
If your e-liquid tank is leaking e-liquid
One of the most common problems is that the e-liquid tank leaks. This problem can be solved by unscrewing your tank and making sure that the coil is properly threaded. If your coil has difficulty catching the threads, you can take the coil and screw it back and forth so that you can really feel it catching the threads.
If you notice that your coil is properly tightened, you can try replacing the coil with a new one. It may be as simple as the seal in the coil being worn out, which causes your e-liquid tank to leak.
Another thing we usually recommend to our customers is to always close the airflow when filling up with e-juice, as well as closing the airflow when you have the e-cigarette in your pocket while traveling. Different e-liquid tanks handle this differently, but we still recommend always closing the airflow when you are not using the e-cigarette.
If your e-cigarette spits e-juice through the mouthpiece
Sometimes the e-cigarette can spit e-juice through the mouthpiece, which results in e-juice getting into your mouth. This problem usually occurs when the coil is worn out. If the cotton inside the coil is burnt, it usually results in the e-cigarette sending e-juice through the coil and up into the mouthpiece.
If you get e-juice in your mouth through the mouthpiece, it may also be because you are "sucking" too hard on the mouthpiece when vaping. If the problem occurs, try "sucking" more gently when using your electronic cigarette.
My e-cigarette tastes burnt
The most common problem we encounter when helping our customers is that the e-cigarette tastes burnt, and there is a very simple solution to this problem. If your e-cigarette tastes burnt, you only need to replace the coil with a new one, and your electronic cigarette will be as good as new.

My electronic cigarette does not charge via USB
Almost all of us have experienced problems with USB charging at some point, both with phones and other electronic devices. To troubleshoot this problem, you can start by replacing the USB charger and testing a new one to see if it works. If you do not have the opportunity to replace the USB cable, you can try blowing out the USB cable. Dust and other particles often accumulate, which can result in it not charging.
You can also try cleaning the USB port on your electronic cigarette. Take a needle or toothpick and be very careful when cleaning the USB port / cable. If you use an e-cigarette with external batteries, we recommend charging the batteries in an external battery charger instead of through the USB port.
My e-cigarette does not make contact with the tank
When a problem occurs with electronic cigarettes, the coil is almost always the culprit. If your e-cigarette does not make contact with the tank, you can unscrew the tank and clean the contact (the thread where the tank is screwed in). If that does not work, you can try inserting a new coil to see if your e-cigarette makes contact. In 9 out of 10 cases, this resolves the problem.
